Bull Shoals Tournament 2017What great news to share!

The weekend of Sept 9th was so fantastic as 6 members of my Pro-Satff fish the Mo-Yak Fishing Series stop 7 on Bull Shoals lake, with 5 finishing in the top 10. It was a tough day with water temps in the upper seventies and dropping. “The Bull” as we call it, remains flooded after long spring and early summer abnormal rains. They have been dropping water for several weeks now trying to get it back to normal and in the last week before the tournament it had dropped approx. 4-5 ft. Fishing has been very on and off all week.

Bull Shoals is a great bass lake but to pattern it can be very tough due to the Powersite dam and Bull Shoals dam keeping our waters fluctuating.

Even though Saturday may have been tough, 5 of the She Angler Pro-Staff and Momma She managed to pull off a top ten tournament placement.

Gina managed a 3rd place finish with 73.75″, catching her biggest fish 15.5″ on the SAC custom S-Crank in Mardis Gras. Better watch out boys this gal is gonna be someone to watch at the KBF NC!

Jerrad pulled off a 5th place finish with 69.0″.

Jerry finished 8th with 63.5″ and took the big bass pot with his largest fish 17.25″ caught on a SAC “Reaper jig” in PB&J!!

Carl landed a 9th place finish with 60.75″ with Momma She tenth with 58.75″.

Congrats to all the team and Great job!! Next stop is Tablerock lake Sept 16. This will be a make-up tournament due to some river flooding in March but this tournament could be a major game changer for the Mo-Yak Angler of The Year!! Our ProStaff team lead Jordan is currently sitting in the 3rd place position but you never know he may just make AOY and earn his spot at the Yak4it Tournament of Champions on Lake Fork, Texas in November!!!
